This week (aka the longest week of my life) we got to see and hear the babies' heartbeats! I went to visit my friend Heather and the twinsies received their first gifts- we received two HALO Sleep Sacks. Heather also sent me home with a tub of maternity clothes to borrow- they are all so cute, I can't wait until my bump grows and I can wear them. We also went to Once Upon A Child and I stocked up a bunch of clothes for $1 each.

Does this mean I'm going to have to share my closet?
Week 5- We had our first ultrasound! My suspcisions were confirmed- we are expecting twins! Since the ultrasound was so early, it was too soon to see much. We were instructed to come back next week for another peek at the babies
After the shock that there are really two babies wore off, one of my thoughts was "huh, does this mean I have to share my closet?" Justin currently uses the closet in the spare bedroom upstairs, but that will become the nursery. Initially we thought the baby could share the closet with Justin, but now that we'll have double the baby gear, I'm not sure how that plan will work.

Week 4
Week four of pregnancy was kicked off by beta day! My numbers were on the high end of normal, so of course I ran off to Dr. Google. I learned that my numbers were within the normal range for twins. Justin told me to step away from the internet, but I had a feeling that it could be twins.
As a side note, I can't wait until next summer when I can get back into my cute red pants. I suppose if they pass the full length mirror test I could get a few more wears out of them with the help of the Be Band. Apparently I was a bit delusional when I bought them, thinking that they would fit during the first trimester. Oh well, they were cute while they lasted!
