The girls and I had a fun weekend attending Cameron's baptism. They also had a chance to check out some vintage toys...

throwback thursday

A year ago at this time we found out our twins were both girls! I tried to play coy when people asked if I had a gender preference, and while I would have been happy with any gender combination, I was thrilled when I found out that both babies were girls! The gender reveal was the very last part of the ultrasound... that was a very slow hour!

The ultra sound tech had me guess if I thought the babies were boys or girls... I guessed one was a boy, and one was a girl (I can't remember who I thought was a boy... it had something to do with heart rate).

I was thrilled when I heard that Baby A (Claire) was a girl, and then overjoyed when I found out that Baby B (Audrey) was a girl too! Quite a few people have commented how it would have been perfect if we had one of each, but I couldn't imagine our little family any differently!

Claire isn't quite as adventurous- she was busy playing with her toes when Audrey was exploring.

I thought that by offering the girls strawberries they would be getting a delicious treat. Audrey did not agree.

Claire didn't have the same level of disdain.

7 months

It is hard to believe that Claire and Audrey are already seven months old. 

Claire has her two bottom teeth. Yesterday I noticed that Audrey's bottom teeth are coming in too.

The girls have been going to bed between 7:30 and 8:30 and wake up around 7 am. Sometimes they will get up between midnight and 4 am needing a snack. 

They have been exposed to a variety of foods- they like most green veggies, but aren't huge edamame fans. They love cauliflower and carrots. We will be introducing more fruits to them soon - so far they have had bananas (not impressed) and a taste if watermelon (meh). Hopefully we will come across fruits they enjoy.
